A private link, confirmed by date of birth
No app, no password. The page closes on its own after the time you choose and locks after repeated wrong attempts.
Afterchair · for small private dental practices
A short video from the doctor, the written plan in plain language, payment options, and one place to ask a question. On your side, a queue that tells the coordinator who to reach today and what they have already seen.
Why plans stall
By dinner the patient remembers the price and not much else. The spouse hears a worse version.
A sticky note, a vague task, a call that was meant to happen Thursday. Nobody can see what was sent or what the patient looked at.
Was it the money, the fear, the timing, or did they never open the text? Without the signal, every patient gets the same script.
What the patient gets
Phone first. Scroll to walk through the page a patient opens from the text you send.
No app, no password. The page closes on its own after the time you choose and locks after repeated wrong attempts.
A recap recorded right after the visit, with a written note underneath. The patient can ask a question from the same card.
Each step in plain language with fees and estimated insurance, plus a Read the guide link for every procedure.
Before and after cases for the treatments on their plan, with a signed release on file. They drag to compare, or just scroll.
Your financing partner's calculator, a monthly estimate on the plan card, and the three steps to get approved.
Accept my plan, Request a time, or Ask a question. Each one shows up in your team's queue the moment it happens.
Try it
Drag the handle, or just keep scrolling and watch it move. Your team adds cases from the treatment library with a signed release on file. Patients only see cases for treatments on their own plan.

How it works
One sitting at the front desk, usually before the patient reaches the parking lot.
The doctor or coordinator records in the browser with a countdown, a mic check, and talking points on screen. The server converts every video so it plays on any phone.
Pull the plan from Open Dental or upload the printout. The patient confirms their date of birth, and the page closes on its own after a set time.
The coordinator sees who opened the plan, watched the video, checked payment options or asked a question, and gets the exact text to send next.
What the team gets
A simple queue sorted by next touch. Every plan shows its owner, its value, what the patient has looked at, and the next step in your cadence.
Opened, watched the video, read the PDF, checked financing, compared before and afters, requested a time, asked a question. Each one is a reason to call.
Day 2 text, day 7 call, day 14 payment options, day 30 last touch. Editable. Each step comes with a personalized draft to copy into your texting system.
Touches per plan, overdue work, unanswered questions and reply time, by coordinator. Transparent without being a surveillance tool.
The report that tells you whether the recap is earning its keep: acceptance rate and dollars, with and without the doctor's video.
Privacy and control
Each practice runs its own copy on Google Cloud under a signed Business Associate Agreement, on an encrypted disk, with nightly snapshots. We help you set it up. We never pool practices into one database.
We built this to make compliance workable in a small office. It is not a certification, and your practice remains the covered entity. We will walk through the setup with you and your compliance officer.

Why we built it
We own and run private dental practices. Our doctors explain plans well, and patients still walked out confused. Our coordinators cared, and follow-up still slipped. We could not find a tool that was simple enough for a front desk and good enough to put our name on, so we built one and put it in front of our own patients first.
Early access
Not a public launch. A handful of practices that want more touchpoints, a clearer picture of coordinator follow-through, and a patient experience worth talking about.
Questions
No. It schedules the steps and writes the personalized draft. Your team copies it into the texting system you already use, so nothing goes out that a person did not look at.
On your own server on Google Cloud under a signed BAA, on an encrypted disk. Videos stream only to a patient who has confirmed their date of birth. Nothing is on YouTube or a shared drive.
No. With Open Dental you can look up the patient and import the plan directly. With anything else, upload the treatment plan printout and the reader pulls the procedures, fees and estimates.
No. It sits beside it and handles one job: helping the patient understand the plan after the visit and keeping follow-up visible until they decide.
Most recaps are 45 to 60 seconds. The recorder shows the talking points on screen, so the doctor or coordinator does not have to think about what to say.
One working session with us: your server, branding, team accounts, treatment library, financing link and your first test plan. Founding practices pay $250 for it, standard practices $750. If you are not live within 30 days of the session, we refund it.
Month to month. Founding practices keep their rate for as long as they stay. If you leave, we hand you an export of your plans and videos and shut the server down.
